30 Supply Administration and Operations
Marine Corps OccFld 30 is the supply administration and operations field that keeps gear, records, inventories, and issue processes under control. It is one of the clearest sustainment communities on the enlisted side.
This field fits Marines who like order, accuracy, and the satisfaction of keeping a unit’s sustainment picture from drifting out of control.
The field is broader than most people expect. Some Marines stay closer to issue and receipt work, some to inventory visibility, and some grow into wider supply-chain responsibility as the field merges later-career roles. That makes 30 a good fit for Marines who want a support field with a clear civilian parallel and a clear internal progression path.
